Is it save at all to have sex while pregnant?

I'm 6weeks pregnant and me and my partner are having sex without condoms, since I'm already pregnant right? But one of my friends said that if you have sex while pregs and go all the way though you can have some complications. Is that true? I mean I never heard that something happens if you have sex while pregnant. But is it save at all?

It is perfectly safe as long as it is not hurting. I had sex throughout my pregnancy and had a healthy baby with no complications.
